Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
1. Overview
That’s Not Art is a small independent brand. Many of our clothes, posters, prints and related products are produced especially for each order.
This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, produced and delivered. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Refund & Return Policy.
We ship only to the countries and regions available at checkout. Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
2. Order confirmation
After placing an order, you should receive an order-confirmation email at the address provided during checkout.
Please review the confirmation carefully and contact us immediately if your name, delivery address, product, size, colour or other order details are incorrect.
If you do not receive an order-confirmation email, check your junk or spam folder and confirm that the email address entered at checkout was correct.
3. The 24-hour cancellation and amendment window
You have 24 hours from the time your order is placed to request a cancellation or ask for changes.
After this period, the order may have entered production and we cannot guarantee that it can be cancelled, changed or stopped before dispatch.
For clearly personalised or custom-made products, the 24-hour period is the voluntary cancellation window we provide before production. Once this period has passed and production has begun, personalised or custom-made products cannot normally be cancelled because you have changed your mind.
For standard, non-personalised products, this 24-hour production rule does not remove any cancellation or return rights provided by applicable consumer law.
To request a cancellation or amendment, email thatsnotartshop@gmail.com with your full name, order number and the change requested.
4. Production and processing
Many products are made to order. Production time is separate from delivery time and begins before an order is handed to the carrier.
The estimated production and delivery information shown on the relevant product page, at checkout or in your order confirmation applies to your order. Any timeframe is an estimate unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed delivery date.
Production may take longer during busy periods, product launches, sales, public holidays or because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a significant delay affects your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the country where the order is produced or dispatched.
5. Delivery charges
Delivery charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. Charges may vary according to:
-
The delivery destination
-
The products and quantities ordered
-
Parcel size and weight
-
The selected delivery method
-
The production or fulfilment location
Any applicable discount or free-delivery offer will be shown at checkout and may be subject to its own conditions.
6. Dispatch and tracking
When your order is dispatched, we will normally send a dispatch-confirmation email. Where tracking is available, the email will include a tracking link or tracking number.
Tracking information can take up to 72 hours after dispatch to update. Some economy or local delivery services may provide limited tracking.
Delivery estimates begin after production is complete and the parcel has been handed to the carrier.
7. Separate parcels
Products within the same order may be produced or fulfilled by different partners or at different locations. Your order may therefore arrive:
-
In more than one parcel
-
On different dates
-
Through different carriers
-
With separate tracking details
You will not be charged additional delivery fees solely because we divide an order into separate parcels after checkout.
8. Delivery times and delays
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless a guaranteed service or delivery date is expressly stated.
Delays may occasionally be caused by:
-
Carrier disruption
-
Severe weather
-
Customs inspections
-
Peak seasonal demand
-
Public holidays
-
Incorrect or incomplete address information
-
Events outside our reasonable control
These circumstances do not remove any legal rights you may have.
For UK consumer orders, we will deliver within the timeframe agreed with you or, where no different timeframe has been agreed, normally within 30 days of the contract being formed.
If your order has not arrived by the estimated date, check the tracking information first and then email thatsnotartshop@gmail.com with your order number.
If delivery by a particular date is essential, contact us before placing your order. Selecting an estimated express service does not make a date guaranteed unless we expressly confirm this in writing.
9. Delivery addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including the correct postcode, apartment or unit number and any information reasonably required for delivery.
We will try to correct an address if you contact us within the 24-hour amendment window, but changes cannot be guaranteed once production or dispatch has begun.
We are not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer. However, this does not limit any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
If a parcel is returned because the address was incorrect or incomplete, delivery was refused or the parcel was not collected, contact us to discuss the available options. We may require payment of reasonable redelivery costs before sending it again. Any cancellation or refund will be handled under our Refund & Return Policy and applicable consumer law.
10. Failed delivery and collection
Where a carrier attempts delivery, you are responsible for following its instructions to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel within the stated period.
If you authorise the carrier to leave a parcel in a safe place, with a neighbour or with another nominated person, please ensure the location or person is suitable.
If a parcel is returned to us or our fulfilment partner after unsuccessful delivery attempts or failure to collect it, email thatsnotartshop@gmail.com. Additional reasonable delivery charges may apply if you ask us to resend the order.
11. Parcels marked as delivered
If tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered but you cannot find it:
-
Check the delivery address on your order confirmation.
-
Check any safe place, reception, concierge or communal delivery area.
-
Ask members of your household and nearby neighbours.
-
Check the tracking page for a delivery photograph or carrier instructions.
-
Contact the carrier where appropriate.
If the parcel is still missing, email thatsnotartshop@gmail.com as soon as possible, ideally within seven days of the recorded delivery date. This suggested reporting period helps us investigate promptly and does not remove your statutory rights.
We will review the tracking information and, where appropriate, open an investigation with the carrier.
12. Lost parcels
Please allow the carrier’s stated delivery period to pass before reporting an order as lost.
If a parcel is confirmed as lost before it reaches you or a person identified by you to receive it, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement or refund.
Responsibility for the goods remains with That’s Not Art until they are delivered into your physical possession, or the physical possession of a person you have identified to receive them, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
13. Damaged or incorrect deliveries
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, email thatsnotartshop@gmail.com as soon as possible with:
-
Your full name
-
Your order number
-
A description of the issue
-
Clear photographs of the item
-
Photographs of the external and internal packaging, where possible
Please keep the item and all packaging until we confirm the next steps, as the carrier or production partner may need them for an investigation.
We will handle damaged, faulty or incorrect items in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and your statutory rights.
14. International delivery
International orders may be produced or dispatched from different locations depending on the product and destination.
Orders crossing an international border may be subject to customs inspections, import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees or handling charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, they are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in the product price or delivery charge paid to That’s Not Art.
We cannot control customs decisions or customs-processing times. You are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered can lawfully be imported into the destination country.
If an international parcel is refused, abandoned or returned because import charges were not paid, contact us once the tracking confirms its return. Any refund or redelivery will be considered after the item has been received and will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy and applicable law. Reasonable costs incurred because of the refusal or return may be deducted only where legally permitted.
15. Delivery restrictions
We can deliver only to destinations accepted by our checkout.
Certain products or delivery services may not be available in every country or region. We may contact you if a carrier cannot service the address supplied.
We do not guarantee delivery to PO boxes, parcel-forwarding services, military addresses or restricted locations unless the address and a suitable delivery method are accepted at checkout.
